Niglpgas.com’s LPG Personality of the Week is an erudite scholar and cerebral entrepreneur per excellence, who is a former Director of The Center for Space Science, at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe, the Founder and Chief Executive of Green Energy International – the operator of the Otakikpo Marginal Field in OML-11, Rivers State, is becoming the cynosure of all ‘good’ eyes in the nation’s LPG industry.
Under his intellectual and visionary stewardship, the Otakikpo Crude Oil and Natural Gas Marginal Field has witnessed tremendous progress. Two of Green Energy’s priority projects: the 12MMSCFD Modular LPG Extraction Plant and 6 Mega Watts gas-fired Power Generating Plants, are already nearing completion.
Niglpgas.com is particularly elated about the Modular LPG Production Plant, which is projected to churn out some 60 MT of LPG on a daily basis, upon the completion of the project.
The success of this modular type of LPG Plant, will obviously be a model to other Marginal Field Operators, which when fully adopted, has the potential to ramp up the in-country production of LPG to over 1 million metric tons within 2-3 years.
For his ground-breaking feats in the nation’s Upstream LPG industry, Niglpgas.com has no other option than to ‘pump 500,000 metric tons’ of kudos to Prof. Anthony Adegbulugbe, wishing him the best in his endeavours.
