Niglpgas.com’s deserving LPG Personality of the Week is Mr. Julius Rone, the Chief Executive of UTM Offshore Limited – a great Nigerian Company performing awesome feats in Nigeria’s Natural Gas Industry.

Mr. Julius Rone’s outstanding leadership pedigree is rubbing off remarkably well on the core operations of UTM Offshore limited, which are the Direct Sales and Direct Purchase of Nigerian Crude Oil-for-Products Exchange, Subsea Engineering and Construction Services and development of offshore gas processing facilities.

Under his pragmatic leadership, UTM Offshore Limited is spearheading the construction of a gigantic Floating Liquefied Natural Gas Facility in the territorial waters of Akwa Ibom State, in partnership with LNG Investment Management Services, a subsidiary of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited.

The facility( the first of its kind in Nigeria) will process natural gas feedstock from offshore gas fields, liquefy it and store the LNG onboard the vessel’s tanks, for subsequent discharge into ocean-going LNG/LPG Tankers.

Mr. Julius Rone definitely deserves more than a round of applause for having the vision and will- power to execute this extraordinary project that will have a tremendous impact on Nigeria’s LNG and LPG industries, when production commences at the plant.
