Niglpgas.com’s LPG Personality of the Week is none other than the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Dauda Ali Biu.

In the aftermath of a fatal road crash that occurred in Odeomu, Osun State, last week, where as many as 16 people were  burnt to death and others sustained severe burns and other injuries, the FRSC Corps Marshal had issued a stern warning to the motoring public to desist from conveying combustible items such as filled gas cylinders in passenger vehicles.

This warning is in perfect other because a filled gas cylinder in a vehicle on transit will most likely explode, if the vehicle is involved in a road crash.

There are other factors that can make a gas cylinder to explode, even when the vehicle is not involved in a road crash, so it is better to heed the warning of the FRSC Corps Marshal.
