The much anticipated Ardova Plc LPG Terminal Project in Ijora, Lagos, has been completed successfully, and commissioned.
The gargantuan LPG Terminal with a total storage capacity of 24,000 Metric Tons – the largest in West-Africa, is fully automated and is equipped with a 1.6KM 10-inch jetty line linking the terminal to the NPSC Jetty in Apapa, which makes it possible for a large vessel to berth at Apapa and discharge its cargo into Ardova’s LPG Spheres.
The LPG Terminal also features in-line and in-tank fuel blending capabilities, which means butane and propane cargoes can be received independently and blended effectively at the plant.
NMDPRA, the LPG industry’s regulator, has expressed satisfaction with the quality and requisite safety measures put in place at the LPG plant.
All is now set for the Ardova PLC LPG Terminal to receive its first cargo and commence full operations next month in March.
Niglpgas.com is excited with this good news, that will impact positively on the country’s LPG industry in the short and long terms.
