Niglpgas.com’s LPG Statement of the Week emanated from the vibrant General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development of the Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas Company(NLNG), Mr. Andy Odeh.
Mr. Andy Odeh rose gallantly and professionally to the occasion during the current week, to allay the fears of the good people of Nigeria, and completely deflate some claims in certain quarters that the supply of LPG(Cooking Gas) from NLNG to the nation’s domestic market had been interrupted or was in imminent danger of suffering severe interruption, as a direct result of the ongoing Force Majeure declared by the foremost gas company.
“The plant continues to produce LNG and LPG commensurate to the feed gas it receives from its upstream gas suppliers. Its cargo loading operation also continues without interruption.
The latest cargo from the Bonny plant sailed on August 17, 2023, to the St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, carrying 140,000 M3 of LNG.”
