The silent but magnificent entry of Shafa Energy Ltd into the exclusive club of stellar LPG companies with depot facilities in Nigeria is an awesome development that should excite every genuine LPG stakeholder in the country.
Shafa Energy Limited, a top-notch Oil and Gas company that has enjoyed unprecedented exponential growth in recent times, recently commenced full operation at its ultramodern LPG terminal with an installed capacity of about 4,000 metric tons in Ifiekporo, Warri, Delta State.
Delta State, already home to LPG industry giants like Matrix Energy, KHL Kwale Hydrocarbon and Prudent Energy LPG Terminals, can be said to be convincingly saturated with LPG products.
But its proximity to states that do not have any LPG terminal such as Bayelsa, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Kogi, Kwara, Benue, Ebonyi etc., which can easily be served by the Shafa Energy Terminal, makes the project a strategic one that guarantees its economic viability.
LPG marketers from states farther away in northern Nigeria like Kebbi, Niger FCT, Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba and Kaduna (who already detest going to Lagos to load LPG cargos with road tankers because of the dreaded traffic snarls en-route and within the city) will be more than happy to patronize Shafa Energy LPG Depot.
Nigeria, the third largest producer of natural gas in Africa, stands to gain immensely from this significant project as it will increase the national storage capacity and enhance the supply system reliability of LPG In the country.
Consumers of LPG in Delta State and beyond, are also expected to be positively impacted by the competitive pricing Shafa Energy is certain to foster in the LPG depot space.
With its proven impressive track-record of business integrity and excellence, LPG investors that will patronize the new Shafa Energy LPG depot are rest assured of high quality LPG products, complimented with world-class service delivery.
